Art Project Sept-Dec 2024
Art and AI - an exploration...
We've been exploring the concept of art and AI, over a number of weeks and in different ways, during opportunities created and contributed to by different members of the Lodge community.
We started by surveying the Lodge community, to see who identified as a artist, or had any kind of artistic/creative practice.
From this survey, we established what skills and interests existed within the community, and over the following weeks, different people organised sessions to further share and explore this.

The Lodge Book of Extraordinary Animals
During the project a book emerged - the Lodge Book of Extraordinary Animals. The animals were created by considering either a hybrid of two types of animals, or an animal and an element such as ice, and then brought to life using an AI image generator.
Over a period of development, these images were refined, and descriptions of their habitats, diets, lifestyles and magical powers were written.
